Capacity Building Provider

MAMTA's capacity building efforts are designed to create a sustainable impact by empowering individuals, community institutions and strengthening the public and private health systems.
MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child (MAMTA-HIMC) is a national-level non-governmental organization (NGO) in India that works to empower marginalized individuals and communities through health and development initiatives. Founded in 1990 by pediatrician Dr. Sunil Mehra, it has grown from a small clinic in a Delhi urban slum into an organization with a presence in over 300 districts across 25 Indian states, and also provides technical support in other South and Southeast Asian countries.
